SAP APO was implemented into a global design framework. The strategic business units ranged in size from one billion to three billion dollars and resided in a separate APO system. A key unique feature introduced by LLC was a global leveraged design concept that had a universal repository that allowed the business units to be standardized corporately while allowing the unique business competitive advantages to be contained within the business unit’s separate APO instance. This design achieved significant implementation savings while preserving unique competitive advantages. Sensitive inventory optimized management has been enhanced with the integration of SmartOpsTM.
